The next edition of the Sedes Sapientiae Symposium is on Mary and the philosophy of economics. It takes place at the Irish college in Leuven, December 12th-13th. Registration is open until December 5th.

The Centre for Marian Studies has just announced its 2025-2026 series of research seminars. I’ll be presenting on November 12th 2025 on the topic: Did God create the world for Mary? Call for papers: Dialogue between Economics and Theology on Human Nature & Community
Just spreading the word about this wonderful upcoming conference:
On June 19 and 20, 2025, the Erasmus Economics & Theology Institute (EETI, Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands), the Institute of Leadership and Social Ethics (ILSE, ETF Leuven, Belgium) and the Economic Humanist Group will organize an international academic conference addressing this theme, focusing on the dialogue between economics and Christian theology. The conference will provide an opportunity to engage with and learn from a diverse group of global leading thinkers in these fields. Scholars are invited to submit an abstract for a paper.
